Cricket is often labelled as gentleman’s game but the reality is different at the moment. With passage of time, the game has involved a lot which had led to more competitiveness and outburst of emotions from the players. There are instances where a player has lost his cool over the rival or opponent. It is part and parcel of any game and cricket is no different. However there are cricketers who are famous because of their calmness and composure. They are the ones who keep their emotions under control despite going through a lot at the hands of opposite numbers. There is a limit to everything and there are episodes which shows that even such gentleman cricketers have lost their cool after being subjected to unwanted occurrences. Here are six such incidents when naturally calm cricketers lost their cool.

RAHUL DRAVID’S OUTBURST AGAINST SHOAIB AKHTAR

Rahul Dravid was a true ambassador of the game during his playing days. He was a gifted player who could play for hours despite being sledged by the opposite players. He never lost his cool and this is what made him a masterpiece. However, he couldn’t take what Shoaib Akhtar said to him during one of the matches of the Champions Trophy match between India and Pakistan on 19th September 2004. The former Indian captain bumped into the pacer after completing a single which made the Pakistani player livid and this is when alteration started.
