It’s a new season and a new Celtic View feature as we catch up with the players and discover some of their interests away from the game.

'Tic-fire Questions With Vakoun Bayo…

Most memorable tournament you remember watching when you were younger?

I remember the 2012 Champions League best. That was the one with Chelsea and Bayern Munich in the final when it went to penalties. The most recent World Cup when France won was a good tournament too, I enjoyed watching that.

What do you listen to on your way to training?

I like music from Ivory Coast. Coupe-Decale is what I listen to most. It’s a form of Ivorian dance music. DJ Arafat was one of the best artists but he died recently which is very sad.

Favourite holiday destination?

Ivory Coast, of course! I love going home to see my friends and family but the weather also makes Ivory Coast a wonderful place to go to.

Favourite TV shows?
