Cheryl McCulloch - Fire In Her Boots

CELTIC defender Cheryl McCulloch has been through the wars this season in her fight to help the team attain their target of Champions League football.

Injuries have done nothing to curb her ambition however, and now McCulloch is fitting fit and determined to help ensure the team continue their fine form right up until the end of the campaign.

During her career McCulloch has played in the Champions League, won three SWPL titles, a Scottish Cup and two League Cups. With the season end in sight the 29-year-old’s experience will be crucial as Celtic fight it out at the top of the table for silverware and a place in Europe.

What’s life off the pitch like for you just now?

I’m starting training with the Fire Service. I was working in the Emirates across from Celtic Park and I wanted a career change and a new challenge. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do so I decided to give it a try. It’s a 14-week training period and I’m really looking forward to it.

How has the season been so far?
