Chris Froome will test his form in the Middle East.
Team Sky leader Chris Froome will look to continue to build form ahead of the Tour de France when the flag drops on the inaugural edition of the UAE Tour on Sunday. The Brit will face stiff competition at the Middle East stage race, with Tom Dumoulin (Sunweb), Vincenzo Nibali (Bahrain-Merida) and Primo Rogli (Jumbo-Visma) all heading out to compete in the desert. An amalgamation of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Tours, the seven-stage race features a team time trial and familiar finishing climbs up the Hatta Dam and Jebel Hafeet.
