Simmonds and CAMS-Basso team take women’s title
Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling continued their preparations for the Tour of Britain by taking a one-two in the Team Time Trial National Championships in Scotland on Sunday.
With few opportunities to test themselves against the clock as a team before the September stage race, the Ribble team used the event to see what improvements can be made.
The winning team of James Shaw, Dan Bigham and Simon Wilson covered the flat Ayrshire 31.5-mile course in a time of 54 minutes and one second.
