Revised World Tour Calendar ‘Good For The Head' Says Ben Swift

The UCI autumn road calendar gives riders a much-needed something to focus on, says Team Ineos’s British national road champion Ben Swift.

“I think personally it’s important to have a calendar set and something to work towards. We’ve got to have some sort of goals,” he said. “It’s good for the head, and good for the fans to know that something potentially might happen.

“Going into this year my target was the Classics… now it’s all up in the air. We’ll just keep working with the team. We’ll see how it goes.”
