Racing against the clock on Zwift’s Tick Tock

A familiar face at the top of the results board, this was Gavin Lancaster’s third win out of three rides in the Cycling Weekly Club 10.Lancaster, who rides for Swindon club Steele Davis Via Roma, recorded 20.42 for the 10 miles and also set a new power record of 432 watts for the 10 miles on the flat Tick Tock course.

“Not bad for an old bloke!” said Lancaster, who added that having to work from home, combined with a training plan from his coach Simon Kessler, has “helped enormously. A little extra training and more rest. It’s not rocket science,” he added, “but it’s difficult to achieve with a young family and a busy job under normal circumstances.”
