TWO popular day ticket fisheries have been hit by terrifying attacks, and police want anglers to come forward with any information.
Armed Police swooped on Earlswood Lakes, near Solihull, in the West Midlands, after an angler in his early 50s was robbed at knife point by a thug with “two bladed weapons”.
Warwickshire Police said the man made off with “a small amount of money”, heading in the direction of Wood Lane.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the horrifying incident on Monday, October 2 at around 9.27am.
