Mark Camoccio reveals the new Delta Optical Titanium 4.5-14x44 FFP HFT AO scope
The old adage, ‘you get what you pay for’, so often holds true, and rifle scopes are a classic example. Cheaper options might well do the job, but the added enjoyment and peace of mind that comes from owning something better made with added refinement is not to be underestimated.
Choose to invest that little bit more, and the difference in quality should be obvious.

HISTORY
Under the spotlight here is a classy piece of glassware with pedigree, and that stands for much where precision optics are concerned. Delta Optical is a relatively new name on the scene; their headquarters are in Poland, but their products are precision-made by the Light Optical factory in Japan. Indeed, take a close look at this scope, and the sleek profile just might look familiar. That would have something to do with it being based on the Lightstream model of the same specification, originated by the late Alan Korik. Lightstream had a superb reputation for quality, and was produced at the same factory, so the Delta Optical Titanium 4.5-14x44 FFP HFT AO can’t fail to arouse interest from the off.

Unlike many rivals on the market, this Delta doesn’t exactly shower the user with included accessories. In fact, take a look in the protective box, and all you get is a pair of elasticated lens covers, and a fairly uninformative manual. Yet, as mentioned, these scopes are all about classy build.
