Life is Strange: True Colors
GameOn Magazine
|Issue 144 - Oct 2021
I actually got into the Life is Strange series because of True Colors. I was there for the Square Enix Presents announcement for the title, and the trailer inspired me to take a look at the other entries to the series.

Publisher: Square Enix
Developer: Deck Nine
Genre: Choose Your Own Adventure
Release Date:Out Now
Platform: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch
Upon seeing I could pick up all of them for just £10, I grabbed the full collection and within a week and a half had already completed Life is Strange and Before the Storm. Enter True Colors, the third main entry into the Life is Strange series that brings us once again to a brand new location and introduces us to a cast of new faces, setting True Colors completely apart from the previous entries. Outside of one easter egg and a subtle symbolic nod to the previous protagonists, no mention of the previous stories are made at all, with the only returning character being fan-favourite Steph Gingrich from Before the Storm. Thus, True Colors can be played by someone who’s never touched the franchise before and they won’t get any less of an experience for it.
Once upon a time... there were two wolf brothers...

Dragonkin: The Banished
I decided to check out the Early Access of Dragonkin: The Banished, an isometric hack-and-slash action RPG developed by Eko Software and published by Nacon. I've always been interested in playing something like Diablo, but due to Activision-Blizzard's less-than-stellar track record over the years, I've avoided it like the plague until now. So, what did I experience in this little slice of dragon slaying?

Guards II: Chaos in Hell
Have you ever wanted a game that you could play in the background without requiring hours of your emotional time? I'm talking about a game that you can pick up after a long break and not have to spend half your playtime trying to figure out what happened the last time you played. Well, that's the kind of game Guards II: Chaos in Hell from developer Battlecruiser Games wants to be, so let's see if this is a journey into Hell that is worth taking, or if you’d be better served playing Minesweeper again.
