The game is divided into four rounds. At the start of round one, each player is dealt six cards. Each turn, you choose one card to play and one card to pass to the player on your left, and one to the player on your right. Players make these choices simultaneously, meaning there's little downtime in the gameplay. When you play a card, you place it face-up into your garden. At the end of the turn, you take the two cards passed to you, as well as one drawn from the deck. The round ends once each player has played three cards. Before starting a new round, check to see if any cards played that round has an end-of-round scoring condition. These only trigger on the round they are played on
