Eric Davidove – Lowrider's Community, Traditions, and Culture
Lens Magazine
|August 2022
This series is full of vibrancy and action and offers an off-the-cuff insight into Lowriders, one of San Francisco's subcultures.

You might notice that I am not using my photography to showcase or highlight the beautiful and unique Lowrider cars. Not because the cars aren't attractive and unique, they definitely are.

I simply want to avoid taking the sort of photos that most photographers would take. Instead, I prefer to incorporate cars into my photos for context and bring most of the attention to the Lowrider community, traditions, and culture. In addition, I try to pepper in a bit of humor along the way.
I am a California-native street photographer who resided in the San Francisco Bay Area and started taking street photography seriously in March 2015.
