Kerala tops the table; nutrition and gender equality remain major impediments

India has improved three positions with the composite score rising from 57 last year to 60 this year, inching towards the fulfillment of sustainable development goals (SDGs), according to NITI Aayog’s latest SDG index.
Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana are the better performing States, while Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Uttar Pradesh are at the bottom.
