With no transport available to reach home, scores left stranded on road outside New Delhi Railway Station

After more than 45 days of suspension of passenger rail services, four trains pulled into the New Delhi Railway station between 7:45 – 10:30 am on Wednesday. The Indian Railways started 15 special Rajdhani train services connecting 15 major cities to Delhi, with the first trains leaving from the capital on Tuesday. To prevent overcrowding, entry into the station has been opened only from the Paharganj side, while the exit is at Ajmeri Gate.
