Online Fatigue Sets In As Curbs Remain

New ‘work-from-home’ formula amid the lockdown starts taking a big toll as tech glitches make meetings exhausting

As India enters into lockdown 4.0, online fatigue is seeping into the Indian lifestyle. Absence of physical interactions while extreme dependence on the Internet and managing technical glitches, it seems, is taking a toll on many.

Based in Ghaziabad, exhaustion is visible on faces of professionals Jatin and Akriti Sachdeva. They hold online official meetings every day.

“It is a task to organise elaborate online meetings. Also, now it takes more time to upload reports due to slow data speed. It is also very difficult to conduct interactions with employees and workers without clear facial expressions,” said Sachdeva.
