Congress & NCP high commands give final tie-up all-clear to form govt with Sena

Almost a month after the election results, the political instability in Maharashtra seems to be nearing an end, as political activity has paced up. After a series of meeting in the national capital, the action will shift to Mumbai, which is seen as the final lap of the political manoeuvring.

After meeting in Delhi at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence, former CM and Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan said that discussion between Congress and NCP have completed on all issues pertaining to the formation of the government in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Thursday said a final decision on a new Maharashtra government would be taken in two days.
