‘Depressed' NiMo Seeks Bail Again

Diamantaire c, who is in London prison since March, 2019, has filed a bail application on the grounds that he is suffering from anxiety and depression. He, in his bail application, has also said that he can be kept under house arrest but not in prison anymore.
Accused in a Rs 13,000 crore bank fraud, Nirav’s bail application was rejected four times earlier by the London court. Sources say that according to law in UK, a bail application can be filed only if any new ground is available with the applicant. Investigative agency sources claims due to lack of any new ground, Nirav has played the health card to get out of jail.
His new application will be heard at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London on November 6, a court official said on Wednesday.
