Congress demands inquiry by SC judge, other Oppn parties shred police theory

OPPOSITION parties, led by the Congress, have called for an inquiry headed by a sitting Supreme Court judge into the encounter of gangster Vikas Dubey by Uttar Pradesh police on Friday morning.

The encounter drew sharp reactions from the Gandhis as well. Both Rahul Gandhi and party’s Uttar Pradesh in-Charge Priyanka Gandhi trained guns at Yogi Adityanath government alleging a cover-up to save politicians and cops who had relations with the gangster.
