WREXHAM manager Dean Keates insisted three points were all that mattered, despite making hard work of a high-scoring win against King’s Lynn Town.

A Gold Omotayo brace as well as goals from Luke Young, Jordan Davies and Jordan Ponticelli saw the Reds to victory, with Sonny Carey and a Simeon Jackson double on the scoresheet for the visitors.

Keates was critical of his side’s sloppiness throughout the game which led to the three goals conceded but praised his strikers for their performances.

“There were good balls in the right areas, and there were some quality goals in there,” he said. “JP got his goal and Gold got his two goals, which was the massive positive.
