THREE first-half goals were enough for Yeovil Town to seal victory over struggling Barnet with the in-form Glovers extending an impressive home record that has seen them lose only once at Huish Park in 2021.

Goals from Tom Knowles, Josh Neufville and Charlie Lee proved the difference for the Glovers with Themis Kefalas’s effort acting as mere consolation for the managerless Bees.

Yeovil manager Darren Sarll was delighted with the opening 45 minutes – and the three points – and he is now looking forward to a first midweek without a match in a month ahead of the Good Friday trip to Altrincham.

“This group is so motivated and determined to do well and it was particularly impressive,” he said.

“It was very good first half. Second half, we managed the game really well – except for the goal. A win is what you wake up and have an objective about and I thought we did well.
