THE unpredictability of the National League took another turn in Surrey as Woking ended their nine-game winless run by shocking in-form Fylde.
The visitors had propelled themselves into the promotion race in recent weeks with six wins in seven, but the division’s top-scorers couldn’t find their finishing touch, and the Cards duly profited.
A solitary header from 19-year-old defender Lazar Stojsavljevic, who was stretchered off the pitch 20 minutes after the full-time whistle having being knocked unconscious in the last action of the match, put Woking back to winning ways.
“No one gave us a chance today,” said delighted boss Anthony Limbrick.
