The former Linnets man scored, assisted and put on an overall show which tortured his former employers all afternoon. And Cards boss Alan Dowson reckons Loza is showing his value.

Dowson said: “With Jamar he has scored three goals now and he is starting to show why we paid a little bit of money for him and why he is worth his eighteen-month contract.”

Dowson bolstered his attacking options in midweek by adding Sam Ashford and Niko Muir to his squad and both on-loan strikers went straight into the starting line-up.
