RAMPANT Huddersfield notched their biggest win of the Danny Cowley era to power away from the Championship relegation zone.

A Karlan Grant brace, a Steve Mounie fluke and a long-range stunner from Juninho Bacuna ensured a handsome scoreline that accurately reflected the Terriers’ total domination.

Charlton were woeful, constantly inviting pressure with a suicidal tactic of playing out from the back and barely creating a chance of note.

The Addicks are now just two points above the drop zone and, with crunch games against fellow strugglers Middlesbrough and Hull next up, a simmering Lee Bowyer challenged his players to man up.

“I’d like to think that result will give them a kick up the backside,” said the Charlton boss. “If they’ve got any pride then that should hurt. I’m sure it does, because it hurts me.

“The first 45, we weren’t good enough. A bit passive. Too lightweight. I tried to out-pass Huddersfield in the middle of the park and it didn’t work, so I won’t be trying that again.
