REDEMPTION is the name of the game according to Peterborough goalkeeper Christy Pym as they look to right the wrongs of last season.
Posh were sixth in the League One table when coronavirus brought a halt to football in March but was replaced in the top six by eventual play-offs winners Wycombe once points-per-game was chosen as the decisive metric.
Darren Ferguson’s side had been in imperious form since the turn of the year and we're on a run of just one loss in nine league matches before the season was curtailed, leaving them in the third tier for an eighth consecutive season.
But instead of feeling sorry for themselves, United have picked up right where they left off.
Heartache
An unbeaten run of eight matches before last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Crewe moved them to the top of the table and Pym claims the heartache of the previous campaign is the driving force behind that form.
