THERE’S nothing a West​ Bromwich Albion supporter dislikes more than somebody from Wolverhampton.

It’s what makes this shock home defeat harder to take.

Sam Morsy, the man who beat Championship leaders Albion, is from Wolverhampton.

Morsy might play for Egypt via his father’s nationality, but he was with Wolves for nine years and let go when he was 16 because they didn’t think he was good enough.

Now he’s Wigan’s captain and this will go down as a big day for him and for Wigan as they took their revival run to five unbeaten.

This sequence with three wins in a week could be the spell that keeps Wigan in the league.

Morsy has been on nine bookings since Christmas and facing suspension.

Wigan manager Paul Cook says: “He should have behaved better before Christmas. He’s like a naughty boy, he’s been very naughty, now he’s behaving.

“I’ve had a word with him and now he’s listening because he misses two games if he gets one more booking.
