He has to give pen, says boss
VALERIEN Ismael slammed referee Leigh Doughty despite his Barnsley side getting the better of Nottingham Forest for the third time this season.
Forest haven’t laid a glove on Barnsley in three games, going down 1-0 in the Carabao Cup on the opening day and losing 2-0 in the league.
They barely bothered the Tykes again and, but for two second-half Brice Samba saves, would have suffered a damaging defeat in their relegation fight.
But furious Ismael reckons Barnsley should have had the hat-trick of wins.
Forest have lost only one league game in their last eight, but Samba saved them with a superb tip over the bar from Herbie Kane’s tremendous volley in the 53rd minute.
Then Samba got in the way of Cauley Woodrow’s close-range header before Joe Worrall cleared.
