CUP EXIT PUTS NEIL BACK IN THE MIRE

NEIL Harris is fighting for his job again after Cardiff went crashing out of the Cup. After going 1-0 down in three minutes, the Bluebirds dominated but couldn’t save themselves.
Now boss Harris has to save himself after Cardiff ’s fourth successive defeat in all competitions – when not even playing on their favourite away ground helped the Bluebirds or their boss.
Cardiff started poorly but then should have rescued the tie with the amount of possession they had.
After Lyle Taylor’s goal, his fifth of the season, Cardiff got the ball and kept it.
They ran Forest around the City Ground where the Welsh club have won their last six games, including one this season, in the league.
Cardiff don’t have a better record at any away ground, but Harris, who was in danger of being sacked in November but hit a winning run to get himself out of bother, is back in the mire.
