Ambitions Nelson Sets Sighs Very High

Defender hails ‘positive’ boss Harris.
CURTIS Nelson will always be grateful to Neil Warnock for giving him a chance in the Championship – but he now wants to help new Cardiff boss Neil Harris shoot for the Premier League.
After almost a decade plying his trade in the EFL’s bottom two divisions with Plymouth and Oxford, the 26-year-old grabbed the chance to step up to the second tier with Cardiff this summer.
Veteran boss Warnock brought him in, but left last month by mutual consent after three years in charge.
After finding his first-team chances limited in the opening stages of the season, Nelson started the final two matches of Warnock’s reign – scoring in the 4-2 win against Birmingham – and also began the first two matches of successor Harris’ tenure, a 2-2 draw after falling two-nil down at Charlton last Saturday and a 1-0 midweek home win against Stoke.
