With improved connectivity and low-cost data, we are seeing an incredible consumption of online video content across the country. The volume of available content across genres such as music, technology, travel and lifestyle is already massive, but in the past two years, educational video content has become one of the fastest-growing YouTube categories in India.

Our research in the country shows that users leverage YouTube to ask questions that range from day-to-day life skills (how to tie a tie), to academics (easy ways to multiply), to learning new skills (how to do Salsa).
