Tributes Paid To Former Surgeon And Politican

SDLP MLA John Dallat has paid tribute to the late John Robb, a former Irish senator and surgeon who died last Tuesday.

Hundreds of mourners from every background gathered at Ballywillan Prestbyterian Church, Portrush, on Saturday afternoon to attend the Service of Thanksgiving for the late politician.

Mr Dallat paid tribute to John, describing him as a, “wonderful surgeon” and politician who he claimed was, “light years ahead.”

He continued: “We are all the poorer at his passing but he has left memories and a legacy which will last for generations. May he be with God.”
