If you told us 150 editions ago that we'd still be around producing the best men's magazine in the world and generally kicking major publishing goals, we'd kick you hard in the balls and tell you to stop dreamin'! Turns out we're still here and, to celebrate a mind-blowing 150 issues of MAXIM Australia, we thought we'd pat ourselves on the back and share 150 of our fondest, sexiest, dumbest and drunkest memories from our existence so far...

1 Issue No.1, August 2011 Jennifer Hawkins helps launch MAXIM Australia to the world with a sensationally sexy lingerie feature shoot in a Sydney hotel, becoming our first-ever cover girl. Over 500 VIP guests, including Scott Cam, Kyle Sandilands, Jesinta Campbell, The Faders and a swag of TV, film, music, fashion, gaming and sports stars, celebrate into the wee hours at our official launch party held at the Museum of Sydney.

2 In October, Batwoman long before was the first openly gay superhero, former Aussie TV host, DJ and actress Ruby Rose revealed her naked ambition for us in an exclusive cover shoot. posing nude in a controversial feature for PETA. Baring all, Ruby only wears an assortment of wigs complimenting her faultless nude figure while showcasing her antifur crusade. Still one of her most daring covers to this very day.

3 Best known for her bikini work, illustrious Sports Illustrated and Australian model Jessica Gomes graces our December cover — in a classy topless pose. Revealing her real and perfectly plentiful chest, the Perth glamour over-shares with, “My boobs are growing and they’re not fitting into sample-size tops!”

4 In December, the inaugural MAXIM Awards celebrating excellence across hotness, sport, humour, politics, stupidity and heaps more, sees Black Caviar take out Woman of the Year. Giddy up!
