Princess Fortier is a young woman who grew up in Stockton, CA, or as Princess described it, a small cow town. Princess grew up with three sisters who also had influential names; Royalty, Destiny & Ebony are her sister’s names. Princess appreciates her father for her birth name; she feels that it set her up for success as she always strived to maintain a “Princess” status, she has done everything in her power not to be a selfish person, she finds inter beauty and personal development to be essential.
Princess shared with Boss Mann magazine that in 2020 she is unapologetic, this is a small adjustment from previous years, she feels she is no longer in a box. Princess is willing to expand and use her knowledge in 2020 to continue improving herself. Princess shared that she broke the chains from society and emotional marketing, advertising efforts that primarily use emotion to make your audience notice, remember, share, and buy. Princess fell victim to what TV considers glamorized beauty, and at some point, Princess felt she didn’t have what was advertised on TV. Princess was able to recognize that colorism is a disease that affects America today, but at the same time, she was able to break the chains of negativity.
