They had been together for five years before the Tristan Seisa proposed to Cristina Cu in 2019.

“Being together has always been easy and marriage felt like the natural next step for us. It was something both of us knew we wanted and were ready for,” shares Cu.

Originally, the couple wanted to tie the knot in Kyoto, Japan. They were halfway through planning the big day when the pandemic hit. “When we realised that things were going to be difficult, we began looking for a place closer to home and we instantly fell in love with Amanpulo after one of our trips. I had never dreamed of doing a beach wedding, but Amanpulo is an exception as it has so many special spots,” the bride remembers.
