Months before Samantha Armytage left her plum TV gig on Sunrise, rumours were rife that she and co-stars David Koch and Natalie Barr were no longer on good terms.

Now, three months after her shock departure, New Idea hears Sam could be about to blow the breakfast show out of the water by releasing a bombshell memoir!

Certainly, Sam didn’t hold back ahead of leaving Sunrise, describing the world of television, which she worked in comfortably for over a decade, as a dangerous environment full of “narcissists” and “psychopaths”.

But now it’s believed the 44-year-old could go even further, with rumours she has been quietly approached by a leading Australian book publisher to pen a new tome.

“She has her sights on her next big project, which by every report will be a blockbuster tell-all book about her years at the helm of Sunrise,” explains a source. “She has the most extraordinary memories on just about everyone at the network since the day she took over as main host from Mel [Doyle] – no one is exempt!”
