If there’s anyone who knows what it’s like to go through a rough trot, it’s Keith Urban.

After all, the 54-year-old country singer has risen above a drug addiction that once threatened to derail both his career and his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

So it’s a good thing he’s there to guide his longtime mate and fellow Voice coach, Guy Sebastian, through troubled waters of his own.

Guy, 40, is currently embroiled in a NSW District Court spat with his former manager, Titus Day, in which the singer has accused him of embezzling almost $900,000.

Titus, 49, denies this and has pleaded not guilty to 50 charges relating to royalties and fees allegedly not given to his former client. Sources who work with Guy on The Voice say the usually private pop star is “horrified” to have his life put under the microscope, and worries that even if he wins, damage will be done to his reputation as one of the industry’s ‘nice guys’.
