When it comes to selecting the perfect lip colour, we want it all – it’s got to be be flattering, smoothing, long-lasting, smudge-proof and kiss-proof, and that’s just keeping to the bare minimum of our wish list. Finding the right few for everyday use is already so difficult; imagine the hassle I have to go through every time I have to pack for a trip that usually involves work events in the day and cocktail parties in the evening, with other possibilities slotted in between! Truth be told, a lot of times I end up bringing everything from lip balms to lip tints, lipsticks and even lip glosses because I need different colours, textures, properties and finishes for different occasions. Oh, and let’s not forget the many moods and whims I might have too! #beautyjunkieproblems
But that is all about to change as I’ve recently discovered a new addition to the Dior Addict franchise that could very well put an end to the above-mentioned dilemmas. You see, when Dior Addict Lacquer Stick was launched a year ago, the easy-to-use lacquer-balm hybrid caught my attention with everything it had to offer – including shades that I went gaga over instantly.
Today, the Dior Addict revolution continues as Dior pushes lacquer and lip care even further by creating Dior Addict Lacquer Plump, the brand’s first plumping lacquered lip ink that is, simply put, a genuine feat from the Dior labs.
