On Her Recent Trip to Los Angeles, Tammy Chan Visited the Warner Bros Records Hq in Burbank, California and Had a Chat With Sydney Sierota From Echosmith Who Shared News About the Sibling Brand’s New Album Inside a Dream.
Currently made up of siblings Sydney (lead singer), Noah (bassist/vocalist) and Graham (drummer), Echosmith has come a long way since their 2013 debut hit single Cool Kids. Since then, they’ve been busy touring the world and finding a new voice after their eldest brother Jamie decided to leave the band to focus on being a dad. Today, not only is the quartet-turned trio back with a brand new album, they’re also ready to prove to their fans that good things do come to those who wait.
FEMALE: Was there a reason why you guys took so long to release a second album?
SYDNEY: “We were on tour for three years so that took up a lot of time and by the time we started writing our new music,which was the beginning of last year, our oldest brother Jamie (the guitarist) left the band. Then we had to figure out what Echosmith would sound like without a guitarist. We didn’t want to rush into it cos we needed to make sure everything was right for our fans and make it worth their wait!”
F: How does Echosmith sound like now?
