Unit for Success- Money? Power? Happiness?

What You See Is What You Get.

This is a line we are all very familiar with. We have all heard this statement in the upscale business world or the nearby market place in the local lingo of “jo dikhta hai, woh bikta hai”.

The intriguing part about this statement is that we have unknowingly imbibed this deep into our subconscious. Our mind has become conditioned to focus on the visuals of life. On what can be seen or shown rather than what can be perceived or felt. If you were compelled to generalize the thought process of all humans as a whole (gun to the head), what would that one common thought be? I guess it would be safe to say that every human strives to live his/her life in a manner that it eventually leads to SUCCESS. Everyone wants to shake hands with success in every endeavor undertaken. But of course this definition of success varies from one individual to another. For a CEO, success could translate as a multi-million dollar deal for the company. For a factory manager, it would probably mean getting the order dispatched on or before time. For a homeless worker, it would probably mean getting the daily wage to survive. For a student, it would mean getting ahead of the rest of the class. For the homemaker it could mean something entirely different.

So who was this mastermind who actually defined success for us? Who gets to decide what it is that you have to achieve or attain in life so that you can attach the label of successful to your existence? The correct answer to that question would be you and yourself alone. But is that really true for our operating system in the modern and advanced 21st century? Well, unfortunately the answer is no. And this answer is actually the reason behind all the unhappiness, jealousy, competition and the evils leading to all the negativity in the world. This answer opens the Pandora’s box.

How? allow me to explain.
