The Future of Gaming

The gaming industry has been on a constant evolution since a long time! From black and white to color, from 2-D to 3-D, from pixelated to high resolution and now even 4K. It’s sometime very hard to figure out real content from the gamified one. It has just become so real! What is the future of gaming? Will everything around us be gamified? Here’s what we think of it.

VIRTUAL REALITY WILL BE THE ONLY REALITY 

Nintendo was the first brand to come with the concept of VR back in 1995 with the Nintendo Virtual Boy. Post 2010, numerous products made their way in like Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, One Plus VR and even entry level products like the Lenovo VR setup that comes bundled with K4 Note.

MOBILE GAMING

With mobile devices being one of the most important and used gadgets, gaming will also narrow down to the mobile devices. The screens are getting bigger, HD’er and the portability factor is the best part about a mobile device. How can we forget how big a success Nintendo’s “Pokemon GO” has been? Clash of Clans cashed in $1.3 billion in revenue in 2015, which made it the top-grossing mobile app of the year as well.
