Dad style is better than ever. We got some of the coolest dads we know to show off the easygoing casual gear and effortless tailoring that's helping make fatherhood fashionable. All with an assist, of course, from their kids.
Ralf Mayer (51), architect and owner of MDIM Architecture, and Ferun (14), Bark (7), and Miex (11) Mayer Brudermann_
What have you learned from your kids? They bring things to your attention that you would usually brush off because you're used to them. It's kind of like you get a second view that you wouldn't have revisited if it wasn't for them, a different perspective on things that we're not sensitive to anymore. Basically, you relive childhood to a certain extent, which is very interesting. -Ralf_Interviews throughout by Lauren Kranc

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE...
Some feats seem unachievable. Climbing Everest in mere days. Kayaking solo across the ocean. Scaling a skyscraper with your bare hands. Few ever face such challenges. Fewer still embrace them with wideopen arms. You're about to read their stories, in their own words-of fear, hope, failure, and triumph, but always passion. This is what it feels like to experience life at its most extraordinary.
