For a UK break with a difference, why not stay in a 17th century farmhouse with eye-catching views and a piece of TV history attached to it
-

For the very first time Hugh Fearnley- Whittingstall’s River Cottage HQ is offering overnight accommodation in their beautiful 17th-century farmhouse. Situated on the Dorset/Devon border with far-reaching views across the spectacular Axe valley, the long house and smallholding have been the backdrop for many of the River Cottage TV series.
River Cottage HQ is 100 stunning acres of working farmland, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, less than 10 minutes from the breathtaking Jurassic coastline and popular towns of Lyme Regis and Axminster. The site includes an 18th-century threshing barn that hosts events and dinners, a bespoke designed cookery school running a diverse selection of culinary and specialist courses, and a traditional West Country farmhouse with Victorian walled kitchen garden.
