Classic Rendezvous
Bicycle Times Magazine
|Issue 43
Dale Brown started the Classic Rendezvous email group to discuss road cycling prior to 1983 along with his fellow vintage bike fanatics.

Brown, currently the owner of Cycles de Oro in Greensboro, North Carolina, has worn many hats in the cycling world, including frame builder, shop owner for nearly four decades, team sponsor and guru of all things vintage road cycling. After the success of the email group, the next logical step was a physical meet up. The Cirque du Cyclisme was born in 1997 and had a decade-long run in Greensboro, followed by a couple of years in Leesburg, Virginia. After a few one-year events, a Classic Rendezvous weekend returned to Greensboro in June.
