Leaving Your Comfort Zone

When you are starting off on your photographic journey, there will be times when you would just wish to go out and shoot but would hesitate, or you will go out but feel really awkward while taking a photograph of a person on the street. this is you trying to get out of your comfort zone. Especially in a new city, it becomes difficult for someone to take photographs since he or she is not familiar with that city or country and its people and culture. in this article we will discuss different ways and practices to get you out of your comfort zone, which inevitably will make you a better photographer in the long run.

Get up early

The best way to gradually make a change in both your lifestyle and your photography practice is to get up early. Waking up early helps you to stay motivated to do the things you want to do in the day. Mornings are usually less crowded on the streets and you will feel much better and get a good sense of a place early in the morning. If you are going to a different country, time zones can be an issue but if you put in a little extra effort to wake up you can get a lot done during the day.

Walk instead of taking a vehicle

Walking can be a good exercise and walking also helps you explore a new place better. There will be lanes and bylanes that is not accessible by a car which can prove to be great opportunities for amazing photographs. Do not worry about getting lost in a new area as you can ask around to find your way out. Look for different activities that goes on in these bylanes to get stunningly different images.
