THE New Year has been welcomed with the pitter patter of tiny feet in our family. Before you fall over and imagine that I’ve just become a dad again, relax. I’m talking extended family of the four-legged kind. Rosie, our cockapoo has just become an auntie. Just a few weeks back, at the beginning of December, her sister Jess gave birth to nine (yes nine!) puppies and Christmas has been a blur of cute photos and requests from my children that we can go and meet the new brood.
