This couple love vintage furniture because it’s sustainable, but their eye for great design takes second-hand to the next level

“I RARELY BUY NEW FURNITURE,” says vintage store owner Elin Jensdotter Hont. But for the sofa bed in her guest room, she made an exception. “It’s extra tricky to find a good one second-hand.” Just about everything else in Elin’s home is vintage or crafted sustainably, an ethos that’s important to her and husband Patrik. “Both Elin and I grew up surrounded by second-hand items. But since becoming adults and especially since moving into a home of our own, the interest in vintage furniture and interior design has grown immensely,” Patrik says.
