‘The pool connects both sides of the house,’ says Thomas. ‘It starts in the private courtyard and leads out to the open world and that’s a very nice thing.’

LIVING AREA

The painting of funicular cabins is by Thomas Bogaert. ‘It changes as the onlooker moves positions, like the old postcards where someone winked,’ says Thomas.
