A business mogul’s personal sanctuary in Bengaluru is the ultimate in luxury, created with sustainable, India-centric design elements

LIVING ROOM
One side of the living room is in neutral tones with accents of black and white. This contrasts with the darker colours near the dining area and bar. This theme of contrasting textures, colours and materials runs through the house where upcycled antiques are placed alongside uber modern furniture to create compelling contrasts. Organic textures like linen, wood, metal and ceramic are combined with sleek modern lines for maximum visual effect.
GET THE LOOK The centre table features an ensemble of accessories curated from Indian brands. The brass tray is from The Purple Turtles, The tea candle stand is from Fabindia and the brass diya was sourced from Kolkata at a puja store. The cushions were customised by House of Three.
LIVING ROOM
The eclectic living room has a large open plan layout where a hint of playfulness blends with artfully curated furniture and customised soft furnishings. The sectional placement of furniture is choreographed to create different spaces for friendly socialising. The furniture features luxe textures like velvet, leather and brushed metal, while a rich and graphic colour palette creates a strong visual impact. Sourcing of individual elements was done domestically to support local businesses during the pandemic year.
