Bright, tactile, modern and stylishthese are the design tenets that define this two bedroom, 810 sq.ft home in Navi Mumbai, crafted for a young couple in their thirties. Suffused with sunlight and beautiful views of the Arabian sea, the home owners aspired to create a space that “narrates the overarching story of their lives, as the foundation of their evolving goals.” Mahek Lalan of SML Architects has taken inspiration from this brief and worked on a material palette that’s a medley of textures in neutral tones, with accents of blue-an ode to the sea. The inviting interiors speaks a visual language of its own, owing to the bespoke furniture that peppers the entire home.
