FORMAL LIVING ROOM

From the brass jaali to the wooden panelling, not to forget the show-stealer chandelier, the living room embodies the design spirit of larger-than-life living. Get the look This is the Sans Souci Aurora chandelier. The sofas and chaise, as well as the Constellation centre table and side tables, are from Fendi Casa. The consoles came from Roberto Cavalli, while Ponzio takes credit for the windows.

Like a goddess rising from the sea, this Hyderabad home in Banjara Hills rises tall over a fairly narrow plot and defies clichés… Designed by Rohit Suraj for a young family of three, the home is built with a series of overlapping volumes. “When we set out to ideate, we wanted to achieve a big, bold and captivating effect. Because of its narrow land, horizontal extensions were created deliberately to give the structure a sense of proportion,” explains Rohit, a self-taught design enthusiast.
