The Perfect Combination
Ireland's Homes Interiors & Living Magazine
|January 2019
Suzanne and Mark from Carrickmines wanted a new kitchen that blended classic and contemporary styles for their family home. O’Connors of Drumleck have designed the perfect combination to bring this kitchen to life.
-
‘Our previous kitchen was a Siematic cherry wood kitchen with Neff appliances,’ explains Suzanne. ‘While it was a nice kitchen in 2000, it was beginning to look quite dated. We wanted a more classic contemporary kitchen, one that we could personalise ourselves according to the needs of our family. We also wanted it to be hand painted and to include natural stone products.’

So what made the couple choose O’Connors of Drumleck as the company who would design their new kitchen? ‘We chose O’Connor’s following a trip to their wonderful showrooms,’ recalls Suzanne. ‘We met with designers Peter and John, who spent many hours with us discussing our new kitchen. They also were willing to visit our house and plan the new kitchen before we had made our final decision. Throughout the work, John’s attention to detail was superb and he was always available to give sound advice. No last minute changes were a problem to them and I could not speak highly enough about the wonderful team of workers that designed and built the kitchen. Peter and John’s advice and expertise was outstanding.’
